Cheetahs Hunt For New Manager

Zimbabwe rugby is in search of a new Cheetahs manager after the Sevens committee that was led by chairman Donald Mangenje was dissolved.

Zimbabwe Rugby Union vice-president Nody Kanyangarara said they have since dissolved all the committees and this is the reason they are directly behind the search and appointment of a new manager.

The Sevens team has had no manager since February when Steve McDonald left the post and Cheetahs committee chairman Mangenje had been doubling up as team manager.

“As part of our restructuring process, we have decided and gotten rid of the committees and this means that all the teams will fall directly under the Zimbabwe Rugby Union office and not reporting to the committees as before.

“The Under-20 committee that was led by Aaron Jani is no longer in existence as well. He resigned a few months back and we have also gotten rid of the committee,” said Kanyangarara.
