Dembare Surrender 3 Goal Advantage
Dynamos capitulated in spectacular fashion in the last 20 minutes of their 3-3 draw against visiting Shabanie Mine at Rufaro Stadium on Sunday Afternoon.
Valentine Kadonzvo opened the scoring for Dembare on 31 minutes slotting past a stranded Petros Moyo in goal for Shabanie as he connected well to a Blessing Moyo cross from deep. The teams went to the breather with Dyna, mos leading 1-0.
Kudzanayi Dhemere registered his name on the scoresheet nine minutes into the second half and Quality Kangadze scored the third on 66 minutes to give Dembare the 3-goal advantage but David Temwanjira pulled one back three minutes later to set a spectacular comeback for the Chinda Boys.
Richard Kawondera who had just come on got Shabanie’s second with ten minutes remaining from full time and Temwenjira was back again barely a minute from Kawondera’s goal to draw Shabanie level on 3-3.
Zibande’s Double Sinks The Students
Substitute Ozias Zibande scored a brace as the Madinda Ndlovu coached Highlanders made it two wins in two games with a 0-2 win over Herentals at the National Sports Stadium.
Herentals dictated the pace of the game from kick-off but their tempo was slowed down by 45-year-old Innocent Benza who is also the club’s director as he continuously lost possession unnecessarily when the team was attacking.
Zibande scored his first goal on the 62nd-minute mark with a header off Nigel Mukumbe’s corner-kick. His second came with five minutes left on the clock.
Triangle Horror Start Continues
Triangle lost their second game in a row going down 0-2 to visiting Ngezi at Gibbo Stadium. Clive Augusto and Xolisani Moyo scored for the visitors either side of the half. Triangle were awarded a penalty which was saved by Donovan Bernard.
10-Man CAPS Salvage A Point At Luveve
There was a delay in kick off at Luveve Stadium as both Bulawayo Chiefs and CAPS United were putting on green and white uniforms. CAPS as the away team had to improvise and played the game wearing orange NetOne T-shirts used for warm-up. The match ended in a 2-2 draw with CAPS finishing with ten men after Justice Jangano was sent off for a second bookable offence in the 75th minute.
Kundishora Chakanyuka put the home team ahead in the 10th minute, but the lead was cancelled out by John Zhuwawo a minute later. Gracious Muleya restored Chiefs’ lead on the 32nd minute. A penalty awarded in the second half which was converted by Joel Ngodzo salvaged a point for the Green Machine.
