CAPS Wary Of Bulawayo City's Away Record

CAPS United are wary of Bulawayo City’s away record and assistant coach Mark Mathe believes despite them being new in the Premier Soccer League, the debutantes have the potential to cause an upset.

“If we look at the statistics, they are very strong defensively and good on the road which means their concentration levels are always high when playing away so it is not going to be a walkover,” said Mathe.

However, CAPS United forward Simba Nhivi believes the tranquillity that has returned into the Makepekepe family following a salary despite between the player and the board will help them in achieving their goal on Sunday.

“A lot of things happened last week but the guys got over it and we focused on the Bulawayo City match,” said Nhivi.

Mathe says they will not underrate the Bulawayo side.

“There are certain aspects that we are looking into and considering about Bulawayo City, they are coached by a seasoned coach Philani Ncube, they have assembled a strong squad with seasoned campaigners and they have also been doing well on the road.

“What will also make this game tough is the fact that they are coming from a defeat at home,” he added.
