Caps United Star Tips How Mine
CAPS UNITED’S defeat against How Mine on Wednesday night left Makepekepe star player Ronald Pfumbidzai convinced the Bulawayo side can win the 2017 Castle Lager Premier Soccer League title.
How Mine beat the defending champions 3-1 at the National Sports to go level with leaders Black Rhinos and Ngezi Platinum on 31 points.
“They (How Mine) are one of the best teams in the league this season and have a very realistic chance of winning the title if they keep the momentum,” said Pfumbidzai.
“It is always disappointing to lose matches especially in the manner we did against How Mine but I am not taking anything away from them.”
How Mine who are coached by Zambian coach Kelvin Kaindu are now third on the 18-team log table with an inferior goal difference separating them from log leaders Black Rhinos and second placed Ngezi.
Caps United, who have six games in hand, are languishing in the relegation zone with 13 points.
