Zimbabwean champions Caps United will play five time Lesotho league winners Lioli FC in the preliminary round of the 2017 Caf Champions League while Chibuku Super Cup winners Ngezi Platinum Stars have a date with Pamplemousses SC of Mauritius in the initial stage of the Caf Confederations Cup.

The draw has been released by Caf.

Caps United will travel to Lioli in the first leg on the weekend of 10-12 February while Ngezi Platinum Stars will be away in Mauritius on the same weekend.

Lioli have won the league title in Lesotho five times in 1985, 2009, 2013, 2015 and 2016.

The return legs are on the weekend of 17-19 February.
