Caps To Wait Longer For Nhivi

CAPS UNITED will have to wait a bit longer before welcoming back Simba Nhivi because the striker is still negotiating an exit package with Tanzanian side Singida.

The 27-year-old Nhivi signed a two-year contract with Singida in May 2017 and still has one more year on the Tanzanian team’s books.

Nhivi is back in the country and has been linked with a return to Makepekepe but that can only happen after he finalizes contract issues with Singida.

Most Zimbabwean players who joined the trek to Tanzania last season have come back amid reports that the teams are not paying what they promised.

Former Dynamos centre back Elisha Muroiwa, Michelle Katsvairo ad Wisdom Mutasa are some of the players who are back in the country.

“There are still contractual talks going on between my management team and Singida because there issues to do with money.

“So at the moment I can’t say I am back at Caps United although they will be my preferred choice when these talks conclude,” said Nhivi.
