AIRFORCE side Chapungu will start their pre-season early with a trail session in preparation of a likely raid for their star players by big clubs.

Caps United are targeting a raid on their talented wingers Blessing Sahondo and Ian Nyoni.

The Green Machine has been robbed of their talented players following a commendable run in the African Safari.

Chapungu coach, Tendai Chikuni said they will conduct trials for a week at Gweru Provincial Hospital ground before commencement of normal service.

"We will be conducting trials starting from January 2 at 9am and those trials will run for a week.

"We want to give many talented players out there a chance to be assessed by our technical department and those who will have excelled will be given a chance.

"I am not aware of those who want to take our players but for us we just want to start early so that we have a strong team for next season," said Chikuni.
