Buoyant Chapungu Target How Mine
Chapungu are targeting to collect maximum points when they host How Mine at Ascot Stadium on Friday.
The Airforce side has been struggling for form this season, managing only one win before weekend's 2-1 away win against Border Strikers.
Chapungu coach John Nyikadzino says the win is a big morale booster going into the match against How Mine.
“The weekend victory lifted our morale and we are now fully geared for any team now. We have been doing well in the previous matches but the final touch always eluded us.
“The win, is the right tonic we have been missing in the previous matches. Confidence is now back among players and we are looking for another victory against How Mine," said Nyikadzino.
Patrick Khumbula and Allen Tavarwisa got the goals at Dulibadzimu and would be hoping to continue scoring again on Friday.
How Mine, just like Chapungu, have been blowing hot and cold this season and are lying in unfamiliar ninth position.
Last weekend, the Kelvin Kaindu coached side suffered a 2-0 loss to Highlanders and would want to bounce back against Chapungu.
