More resignations have hit the Zimbabwe Rugby Union with director of rugby and former Young Sables coach Brighton Chivandire being the latest to leave.

Just a little over a week ago, the Sables technical team gave in to the pressure exerted on them by the Nyararai Sibanda led board and tendered in their resignations.

Now Chivandire has joined the bandwagon.

Though the towering former Sables lock proved evasive in his answers,  SportsZone has it on good ground that Chivandire is no longer part of the ZRU structures.

After his resignation, Sables coach Cyprian 'Supa' Mandenge said if he had failed as a coach, then even Chivandire would have been part of the failing coaches as he was involved in preparing the forwards.

Mandenge feels the ZRU did not do enough in supporting the Sables but were quick to point fingures at the technical team.
