Bouyant City Target Chapungu
BOUYANT Harare City will take the game to Chapungu, hoping to collect maximum points when the two sides clash in a Castle Lager Premiership match at Ascot on Thursday.
Harare City, who have collected four out of six points in their opening two matches, have also been boosted by the availability of defensive stalwart Elisha Muroiwa who got his licence from the PSL on Tuesday morning.
Muroiwa joined City from Tanzanian side Singida early this month but has not been able to play as he was awaiting a reverse international clearance.
Harare City coach Mark Harrison spoke highly of his team ahead of Thursday’s trip to Gweru.
“We are going to Chapungu to fight for three points, we believe it’s a winnable game,” Harrison told the media after Tuesday’s training session at ZB Grounds in Vainona.
“We are taking each game as it comes and we are not looking beyond the Chapungu game,” he said.
Harare City have four points in two matches.
They held Caps United to a goalless draw on the opening week of the 2018 season before narrowly beating Bulawayo City 1-0 at Rufaro last Saturday.
