Boost For DeMbare Ahead Of Derby
DYNAMOS central midfielder James Marufu, who missed last Sunday’s league match against Yadah Stars due to suspension, returns to face Caps United in the Harare Derby while Marvelous Mukumba could be available for selection after recovering from an injury.
Winless DeMbare trained at Motor Action Sports Club Thursday afternoon ahead of Sunday’s clash against Makepekepe at the National Sports.
Right back Peace Makaha and central midfielder Gift Saunyama who have recovered from an ankle injuries also trained fully and so did Emmanuel Mandiranga.
Dynamos coach Lloyd Mutasa is impressed by the work done during the week.
“We have done all we could during the week and what’s left is to psyche up the boys ahead of the derby,” said Mutasa.
“As Dynamos we want nothing less than a win.”
Godfrey “Marabha” Mukambi was impressive at centre back and so was Marufu who partnered Blessing Moyo at double d-link during the session.
Quality Kangadze looks like he will once again partner last weekend’s goal scorer Kuda Kumwala upfront.
DeMbare have three points in six matches and are now 13 behind log leaders FC Platinum who beat Harare City 3-1 at Mandava last Saturday.
Ngezi Platinum Stars dropped two points at Shabanie and are now second on goal difference.
