Black Rhinos duo of Sydney Linyama and Stanford Mtizwa have landed Castle Lager Premier Soccer League gongs as player and Coach of the month for May respectively.

Linyama bagged the Premier League player of the month while Mtizwa picked up the award for coach of the month.

Rhinos racked up 14 points in seven matches in May from four wins, two draws and a loss.

The Army side are riding high in the top flight since their return from the first Division as they currently sit in second place on the log with 23 points from 11 matches.

Former Dynamos defender Linyama was also called up to the Zimbabwe Senior Men’s football team, the Warriors which is a clear sign that he is a player heading in the right direction after a good start by Rhinos in the 2017 Castle Lager Premiership season.

Just three months ago Linyama was on the verge of quitting after being shown the exit door by Dynamos.
