Khama Billiat’s Mamelodi Sundowns will play Japanese J-League side Kashima Antlers in the second round of the Fifa World Club Cup at the Suita stadium in Osaka on Sunday after the hosts beat Auckland City of New Zealand 2-1 Thursday morning.

Sundowns are representing Africa after winning the Caf Champions League and their World Club Cup campaign will only begin at the second round stage.

European champions Real Madrid will enter at the semi final stage and Sundowns are likely to meet Atletico National of Colombian in the last four should they sail past Kashima Antlers.
