WARRIORS star Khama Billiat will rub shoulders with Lionel Messi and company on when his South African club Mamelodi Sundowns host Spanish champions Barcelona in a friendly match at the FNB Stadium on Wednesday night.

The match forms part of the Nelson Mandela Centenary celebrations organised by the South African government and the Patrice Motsepe Foundation.

Motsepe is the owner of Sundowns.

The match could present Billiat a chance to showcase his skills against one of the world’s best players as the Zimbabwean continues his search for a European breakthrough.

Billiat won the championship with Sundowns last week and is set to leave the SA club in July.
