Beefy Aims His Sharp Tongue At Mangwiro
HARARE CITY coach Philani “Beefy” Ncube is at it again.
The boisterous coach talks freely and simply doesn’t care who he tramples upon with his sharp and harsh words.
This time he has accused Taurai Mangwiro’s Triangle of using dirty tricks ahead of the two teams’ crucial league match at Gibbo on Sunday.
Triangle are still not safe from relegation with 37 points, two better than Harare City who held FC Platinum to a 1-1 draw at Rufaro last Friday.
Shabanie Mine which occupy the last relegation slot has 32 points.
“We hear that they are planning to water the pitch until the match day, we also know that they want to do more than that and we are aware.
“A lot of political doings happen at this stage of the competition and we are aware of all the tricks,” said Ncube.
Harare City trained at the Harare International School Tuesday afternoon without the injured duo of skipper Tendai Samanja and Takudzwa Chimwemwe.
Chimwemwe missed last Friday’s game.
Ncube insisted that his team will play an attacking game in Triangle.
“Everyone knows that we are sitting on a knife edge, if anything bad happens in Triangle we are doomed so we will got there and attack,” said Ncube.
