Barcelona have stepped up their bid to replace Neymar as they look to quickly close out a deal for Liverpool's Philippe Coutinho.

Following the controversial departure of the Brazilian, Josep Maria Bartomeu knows that he is under pressure to deliver a replacement and do so soon.

On Tuesday morning, club delegates departed for England with the intention of thrashing out a deal for the Reds attacker.

Their intention is to have the signing wrapped up this week, in order for Coutinho to make his Blaugrana debut during the Spanish Super Cup clash against Real Madrid on Sunday.
