Bantu Interview Two Coaches
BANTU Rovers have interviewed two candidates as the club continues to search for a substantive gaffer who will take over from interim coach Methembe Ndlovu.
Ndlovu who is also the club president is heading the technical department on an interim basis after Zifa ordered the team’s preferred coach Agent Sawu not to sit on the technical bench as he does not possess the required minimum CAF A coaching badge.
But the club still wants to widen its search for the right coach before settling on anyone and will hold more interviews.
“For us it’s not just a case of hiring a coach who will bring in the results but it’s about settling for someone that will fit into our system and understand our philosophy.
“So we are not in a rush to hire a coach, we will give ourselves time until we find the right person for the job,” said Bantu Rovers general manager Wilbert Sibanda.
He, however, would not divulge the names of the two interviewees.
Bantu Rovers plays Triangle United at Luveve Stadium on Sunday.
Life has not been rosy for the Premier Soccer League returnees after suffering two straight defeats. The first was a 5-0 drubbing at the hands of Chicken Inn followed by a 3-2 away lose to FC Platinum.
