DYNAMOS goalkeepers coach Zondai Nyaungwa thinks his club should have at least two players on the 2017 Soccer Stars calendar.

He is also tipping his boss Lloyd “Samaita” Mutasa for the Coach of the Year award.

“Mutasa has been awesome. In fact I can’t seem to find the right words to describe his season,” said Nyaungwa.

“All the odds were against him at the start of the season but he managed to transform the team and the players.”

DeMbare are just two points behind log leaders FC Platinum and can complete a fairytale season by winning the title on Saturday if they beat Chicken Inn and Pure Platinum Play fail to win against Chapungu at Ascot.

FC Platinum have 69 points.

The soccer stars selection plane sits on November 28 and Nyaungwa is hopeful his side will provide at least two of the 11 stars.

“We have players like Ocean Mushure, he was exceptional, as well as Christian (Epoupa) and Peace Makaha. Tichaona Chipunza and Cleopas Kapupurika did well this season.

“In my view, any of the three players deserve to be on the calendar this season,” said Nyaungwa.
