Antipas Pleads For Patience
Zimbabwean coach Joey Antipas is pleading for patience from Amazulu fans as the Durban side based prepares for a return to the ABSA Premiership.
Amazulu bought their way back into the top flight with the purchase of Thanda Royal Zulu’s franchise and Antipas is midful that all eyes will be on his side this coming season.
The former Chicken Inn and Motor Action coach maintains that patience is needed whilst Amazulu adapt to the rigours of the topflight.
"You've got to handle that pressure. This is a massive club, massive followings, expectations are there," he told Kick Off.
"So we just have to stay calm and try and deliver the goods for them.
"My message to the fans, I'd say be patient. Rome wasn't built in a day so just be patient with us and we'll deliver for you."
Antipas has made significant changes to his squad which include dropping Zimbabwean defender Steven Makatuka who is back at Caps United.
