Another Failed Coach Tipped For Top ZIFA Job

ZIFA’S propensity for failures never ceases as the association in on the verge of appointing another non-achiever for the crucial technical director’s post.

Another failed coach Bongani Mafu, who performed dismally before he we sacked at Highlanders two seasons ago, is being tipped to succeed Taurai Mangwiro as ZIFA’s technical director.

Mangwiro quit his post Thursday and is expected to be unveiled as Triangle coach anytime soon.

Although ZIFA claim they are still in the dark about Mangwiro’s resignation, speculation is rife that Mafu who was fired at Highlanders for poor results in September 2015, will become the new technical advisor.

Coincidentally, Mangwiro was appointed technical director on the back of a disastrous campaign with Harare City that led to his sacking mid 2016 season.

Before Mangwiro, Takaendesa Jongwe – another non-achiever – held the post of ZIFA technical advisor.
