Andy Hodges Drops Big Makepekepe Hint

Former Caps United chairman Andy Hodges, one of the most successful administrators in the club’s history, having presided over two consecutive league titles in 2004 and 2005 has dropped a big hint he will return to the club.

Hodges spoke to SportsZone from his base in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and the astute banker could neither deny nor confirm his links with a return to Caps United.

“I can at present only refer you mate to press release issued by the Club,” said Hodges.

And by referring to the press statement, Hodges has all but given consent to the contents of the document which circulated on Thursday.

Caps United announced that there were confident Hodges would co-chair Makepekepe with Lewis Uriri from January 2017 to December 2020.

The Caps United press statement said all was on course for a Hodges’ grant return to Makepekepe.

“We are optimistic that come 1 January 2017, Andy will be back at the Green Machine,” a statement from Uriri stated.
