FORMER Caps United striker Abbas Amidu scored his maiden goal in Egypt on Thursday night and propelled his side El Entag El Harby to a third win of the season.

Amidu had not scored since joining the Egyptian Premier League side in September.

The powerful forward has been used mainly as a winger and on Thursday night the Glen Norah bred player finally opened his account as El Harby won 1-0 away at Nasr.

It was the club’s third win in 10 games.

Amidu’s side is now placed 11th on the 18-team log table.
