CAPS United ended their 11 year wait after clinching the 2016 Castle Larger League tittle at Ascot stadium on Saturday.

Simba Nhivi scored a second minute goal that ensured that CAPS United kept a two point lead ahead of FC Platinum who thrashed Tsholotsho 3-0 at Luveve stadium.

The title is United's fifth after winning it in 1979, 1996, 2004 and 2005.

The win guarantees CAPS United the ticket to represent Zimbabwe in the African champions league.
